A small weekly meditation, SYNTHESIS is an opportunity to safely explore individual and group consciousness, with a powerful spiritual topic, usually around music (acoustic gong and singing bowls), sometimes a spoken topic (spiritual, not religious) "Synvocation" led by Preston and Emily. You will also have the opportunity to meet and share with like-spirited people who, like you, are exploring and meandering along their spiritual paths as well. Via this gentle process, the pain-body is de-energized, and the Bliss-Body is awakened and nurtured. Our intention is to co-create a mystical state in all who attend. By becoming present to our personal states of Grace, we manifest powerful healing that can be sustained through one's everyday life. Anyone is welcome, no need to RSVP. On most Tuesdays (exception being first Tuesday Synthesis Synema), healing is provided during the meditation by Emily Klik, using craniosacral therapy and Reiki healing energy. Healing may occur on one-on-one basis, or group healing if there are enough participants. Emily is also available for private sessions on a ($30-$50) sliding scale, and tutors healers wishing to integrate the gentle releases of craniosacral therapy into their practice. Feb 23, Synthesis Sound Healing presents ZEN BED. Preston will perform a 30' ZEN BED session on one attendee, while Emily gives each attendee a personal hands-on experience of CRANIO SACRAL THERAPY. The group will experience the "sounds of silence" - the sacred sounds of Bombay Temple Bowls, whose delicate vibrations will pull each of us into a relaxing & healing meditation. Starting Apr 13th: Synthesis presents "The 7 Sacred Choices of the Hero's Journey" by Emily. Each week will feature an in-depth look at each choice: Explore, Commit, Escape, Recommit, Fight, Surrender, Return Home. Based on Emily's interpretations of the Hero's Journey by Rev Ed Townley.
Each week will encompass both a choice, and the usual topic (Synema, Gong Wash, Musica, Zen Bed).
