Practitioner Info
I. Starting, sign in and the guest list
Give Peace a Dance officially begins at 9:00 pm. The first healing session / reading starts at 9:30 pm.
Please be set up and ready by 9:00, you may arrive as early as 8:30 pm to start setting up. :)
Make arrangements IN ADVANCE with Emily Klik to heal / intuit at this event. ["in advance" = at least 3 days before GPAD]
You will be on the guest list (or, 1 practitioner is guest listed per space).
We provide you with complimentary bottled water all night.
When you arrive, please check in at the front desk.
You will have a sign-in sheet and "love offering" basket waiting for you in your space.
You can fill in your name and modality (or modalities).
II. Time sheets and sessions
The sign in sheet contains consent/release wording that is very thorough. (exact wording is listed to the left) If you would like to add anything to it...please send me the wording in email text form. Going forward, I may want to add your wording to our sign in sheets. :)
You may use our consent/release wording for your purposes if you wish. (copy'n'paste)
The first session starts at 9:30 pm and the times are set up like this:
9:30 - 9:50
10:00- 10:20
10:30- 10:50
11:00 - 11:20
11:30 - 11:50
12:00 - 12:20
You are responsible for keeping track of time. A 10 minute break is provided in between sessions for your comfort, and to avoid burnout.
III. Spaces and tables
There are up to 4 small rooms available for healers / intuitives at each celebration. Each room is 11'x12', moderately quiet, decorated with christmas lights and can comfortably accomodate 1 practitioner.
Check with Emily directly for space availability.
Healers, you will need to bring a massage chair, floor mat, or table to use. If your healings are done in a regular chair, we have regular chairs on hand for you to use (not massage chair).
Intuitives, if you require a small table, let Emily know and it will be provided for you. You are welcome to bring your own table, table cloth, and equipment if you prefer.
IV. Liability
Due to liability issues, NO airborne substances are allowed to be used inside the small rooms.
This means no essential oils/ incense or smelly oils/lotions. No incense or sprays (rubbing alcohol included).
With the unpredictable nature and potential severity of allergies... we thank you for understanding :)
Please make sure that all people sign the sign-in form BEFORE you work with them.
All healing /reading is done fully clothed (bare feet OK and encouraged).
V Love Offerings
All healing/ intuition is done on a love offering/ tip basis. You will be provided with a basket and a "love offerings" sign for the basket which will be waiting for you in your healing space. Love offerings are for you to keep :)
Since this event is a fundraiser for MKP, charging fees for service is not appropriate. Practitioners who charge for services will not be scheduled for future events.
VI. Promotions - promoting you and promoting us
Your name, modality and website (if you want) will be listed on our website as soon as you get your contact information to me. As you are generous to give healing energy at this event, we want to help promote you. :)
Do bring flyers, cards, brochures. We have a "community networking" table in a high-traffic area of the venue. Bring cards for the table, hand a card to each person you meet throughout the night. "My name is ___ I'm doing healing/ intuition here, nice to meet you"... is a great way to start :)
Many practitioners have reported back that this aids in building their private client base.
Please let your friends, colleagues and clients know that you are healing at GPAD, and that we request a $10 donation per person.
If you bring friends who cannot afford the $ 10 donation, please have them contact Emily directly if interested in work trade (IF AVAILABLE) at least 3 days before the celebration.
VII. On the day of Give Peace a Dance
If anything happens where your schedule changes, and you are running late or are unable to come, or need to contact Emily or Preston for any reason on the day of the event... call or text Emily's cell phone at 773-841-1824. We typically do not get much email access on event days, and appreciate direct communication. :)

1) Your name and modality (exactly as you want it listed on our website)
i.e. Craniosacral Therapy by Emily Klik
3) Confirm that you are able to heal from 9:30 pm - 12:20 am
4) Your mailing address where we can send you promo cards. (could be PO box or office, you can also pick up cards directly from us)
5) Your website URL that Emily can post online and list in our email promotions
